SERVPRO of Athens provides duct cleaning services. Our technicians are professionally trained to clean both flex and hard ductwork.  The technicians use a 3-stage vacuum and filtration system to remove and filter the debris from the duct system.  The approach that SERVPRO of Athens technicians utilize is as follows:

• Access all return ducts, agitate to remove settled soils, vacuum and clean with compressed air.
• Access all supply ducts, agitate to remove settled soils, vacuum and clean with compressed air.
• Remove, clean, and reinstall air registers
• Repair all HVAC access points to original condition using professional repair techniques.
• Re-inspect HVAC system to certify level of cleanliness

Pictured is the plenum portion of the duct system. SERVPRO of Athens cleans and treats this area with an antimicrobial if requested to lower allergens in your home.  Antimicrobial can also be distributed throughout each duct line to reduce the risk of allergens entering your home.
